Our Story
Like many others, we love baklava, but we also keep an eye on our calorie intake and read the ingredient labels. Following the old saying, “If you want something done right, do it yourself.” We decided to take matters into our own hands. We started to make our own homemade all-natural ingredient Baklava. 
After trying and testing and testing many times, the magic started to happen. We use our secret recipe in the Filo dough, especially made for us, and we only use premium all-natural ingredients including tree nuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, clarified butter, and honey. With this combination of carefully measured ingredients, precise timing for baking, and baking temperature, no preservatives, artificial flavors, or colors, the result was a perfectly balanced 180-calorie flaky Baklava. It was like having something incredible that you could only imagine. We enjoyed making it for our families and close friends for a while. The compliments kept coming, and we also felt guilty for not sharing with everyone else. We decided to put it to the test with our local markets. Their response was amazing. Everyone loved it. We discovered that there were others like us who craved a healthier version of baklava.
We introduced it to Whole Foods Market, and they loved it and approved our Baklava. And that's how ibakefresh Westport was born. We grew from a small to medium-size bakery, and we have kept growing.
To accommodate large orders, we proudly partnered with Farhat Sweets, a large facility with a state of the art manufacturing equipment allowing us to maintain exceptional quality and ramp up the speed of production.
